Testimonials

Mrs. Clark tutored our 3 oldest children (currently ages 8, 8, and 6) in math and reading from the fall of 2017 to the spring of 2019. Our 8-year-old boys were born early and were behind in their reading skills at the time that we first employed Mrs. Clark. Over a period of a few months they had met their milestones at school and started to exceed them. At the end of my 6-year-old daughter’s kindergarten year she was so advanced that it was recommended that she skip 1st grade and proceed to 2nd grade.Mrs. Clark has a deep understanding of child psychology, the psychology of learning, and a great breadth of teaching methods which she employed to tailor her lessons to the personalities and differing learning styles of our children. My eldest son is on the spectrum and easily distracted. It was amazing to watch her keep him focused and motivated to stay engaged and complete the lessons.Mrs. Clark has a wonderful rapport with us and our children. They are excited to see her and sad when she leaves. She has always engaged my wife and I in a very professional manner. I recommend Mrs. Clark to you without reservation.

Testimonials

By having lessons with Mrs. Clark weekly, I feel I have a better understanding of writing. Not just the fundamentals, frankly all elements that compose writing itself. By taking these lessons, I have a stronger grasp of creative, technical, and other crucial forms of writing alike. I believe have benefited greatly from my time being tutored, and look forward to continuing these classes. Mrs. Clark is fun, social, and incorporates lessons in unique ways by segwaying lessons into a more understandable concept. One of the ways Mrs. Clark does this is by turning a less fluid and more technical concept into something you can understand and is easy to grasp. I enjoy these lessons because not only am I taught writing, organization, and healthy habits but also how to maintain them. For example, I was told to journal every day. I couldn’t stick to that because my schedule was full a lot of the time, so we came up with a plan that would help me stick to my journaling assignments. It wasn’t about journaling itself, but it was about creating that habit, making it familiar so I could use that skill to achieve personal and outward goals. After taking a few lessons, I noticed that I was using what was taught for myself, but was also helping others with the same dilemmas I was in. I told my friends about Mrs. Clark, and they started to do the same things I was doing so they could improve things like healthy habits, organization etc. One of my good friends soon started lessons on their own and was noticeably more communicative with others, and was more organized. I’ve told my friends about Mrs. Clark, and let them know what I’ve been taught so maybe they could learn with me. So in a way, it's made a very positive ripple effect between me, my family and friends. The things we do while in our lesson time doesn't feel like homework, it feels like building the foundations for a successful personal life, and career.

Testimonials

We hired Mrs. Clark to help our children transition from an Unschooling learner approach to the traditional public school model. Traci has helped our two middle school children adapt to their new routine as well as help them develop strategies for success. In the four months since we first started working with Mrs. Clark we have noticed the greatest difference in our son. As a dual language learner he struggled with English Language Arts and Mrs. Clark helped him push through his anxiety about school and to channel his energy into critical thinking and skill building. She has also helped him re-visit structural math lessons that help him strengthen his math skills in order to succeed in class. Our daughter thrives on the unschooling model and learning is natural for her. However, she struggles with organization and time management. Mrs. Clark is working with her to build a skill set that allows her to flex her creativity but still meet deadlines and stay organized. We enjoy working with Mrs. Clark and she has helped our two learners adapt to and overcome a huge change.I highly recommend Mrs. Clark learning to learn program, her tutoring and/or her skill development focused approaches.

Testimonials

We first met Mrs. Clark 4 years ago when she came in as a mid-year teaching replacement in my son’s 1st grade class. She was able to form a connection and help him perform in the classroom in a way the previous teacher had not. We kept in touch and when my son developed an aversion to writing in 3rd grade, I reached out and she began tutoring him periodically. She has an ability to speak to him and engage him in a way that I feel helps him be successful with his writing in general, and homework, more specifically. She has a way of connecting through his interests while imparting tips and tools that carries him through other assignments. We really appreciate her efforts and ability to help my son become more successful in school.
